Show Jay Bea and Teachers Combine in Getting News Well, Folks, I've just been over to the school 'and talked to the teachers. We're going to try and have a news service ser-vice in the school Have the children bring in news items-- then we will go over them carefully and write them up for the paper. Of course there are a good many things we won't put such as "Pa played poker and Ma hasn't spoken spok-en to him in three days Or Dad thinks Ma gads too much" Or what your neighbors did that was crummy. We'll try lo avoid anything injurious in-jurious to your standing in the community. Jay Bea. Merrill Stewart of Hinckley, is home on leave for the first time in three years. He has been stationed in a hospital on Guadalcanal. Hyrum Blake arrived home this week from the Army. He has been in the band in Michigan. lie was given an honorable discharge to return to farming. Arthur Spendlove USN of Hinckley Hinck-ley is home on a furlough. M-S Leo Lyman went to Salt lake Monday with their son. l.t. Melvin Lyman, w ho has been home on leave. Thoy will spend a few days there before he returns to his post. Lee Davis was a Salt Lake visitor visit-or Tuesday and Wednesday.
