Show Oak City . . - Mrs. Harold Anders n Wednesday evening the Deseret M. I. A. presented a 3-act play in Oak City, "A Stranger Passes." A large crowd attended and enjoyed the entertainment very much. Kathleen Lovell, who is training for a nurse at the LDS hospital, visited a few days with her father, Lorenzo Lovell. Arthur Olson, son of Lafe Olson, has been released from the service ser-vice with the army, and is now at home in Oak City with his father. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Talbot went to Salt Lake Sunday to visit their son Daryl, who is now at Ft. Douglas. Doug-las. Mrs. Thelma Dutson and Wilma Wixom went to Corona, Cal., last week, where they visited their sister, sis-ter, Eldula Wixom, who has been confined to to the hospital for the past two years as a result of an illness contracted while serving as a-nurse in the navy. Thev rort , ...Idula's condition as Improving. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ameu 'd daughter Faye spent a few days in Salt Lake and Ogden. The Primary monthly preparation prepara-tion meeting was held Wednesday afternooon at the hpme of Mrs. Donna Anderson. Friday evening an entertainment was given in honor of J. Lee Anderson An-derson and family, who are moving mov-ing this week to Spanish Fork to pnnip their home. A program was presented to pay tribute to the lamily, after which supper was served and the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. A large crowd attended. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Joe Atkins and little lit-tle daughter Jane, have moved to Price to make their home, where Mrs. Atkins has been living with ner parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Fin-linson, Fin-linson, while her husband was in the navy. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. H. Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Don L. Anderson went to Enoch Wednesday where they attended the funeral services of Charles Jones. Junior Anderson is home from Cedar City where he has been attending at-tending the B A C. Mr. and Mrs. Don Walker and family and Mrs. Lucy Walker of Salt Lake are here visiting relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and, Mrs. Burnis Finlinson served a turkey supper Sunday night to Mr. and Mrs. Mark An-! An-! derson, who are moving this week to make their home in Spanish Fork. A wedding dance and shower was given Monday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Arnell Dutson. Ivan Shipley and Marvin Lovell made a business trip to Nephi on Saturday. |
