Show Leamington. . . : . Mrs. Leonard Dutson ; Mr. and Mrs. Alton Biglow and I family attended the golden wed-ding wed-ding anniversary of Mr. Biglow's j parents, which was held on Friday Mar. 8 at Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nielson had as their guests for the week end their two daughters from Salt Lake City and Mrs. Raymond Jackson Jack-son from Nephi. The Relief Society are having an annual dance on March 22. Everyone Ev-eryone is invited to come. Mrs. Wanda Nielson and baby left Tuesday by plane to join her husband, hus-band, who is stationed in Virginia. Mrs. Kate Spindler was happily surprised when her adopted son Bill Mecham and wife came home. He has served in the U. S. navy for eight years, and his mother hadn't seen him for 5 years. Byron Anderson has been home for the past week visiting with his parents, Mr, and Mrs. Arnel Anderson. An-derson. Mr. and Mrs. John Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Welby Finlinson, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. T. Finlinson and Jeff Finlinson, Finlin-son, and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Nielson attended Parents' Day at Delta a week ago. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dutson received re-ceived word that their son Merrill had met Olive Moody at church in San Antonio, Tex. She invited Merrill and some of the LDS service boys to the mission mis-sion home for dinner. He was happy hap-py to see someone he knew from home. He is stationed at Randolph Ran-dolph Field, Tex. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Summers of Pioche, Nev., drove to Leamington for the week end to see her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Dutson. Bishop Jay Nielson and wife had their daughter Carol and baby home for a few days. She is from Salt Lake. Mrs. Delia Nelson went to Salt Lake to see her daughter Amy and then went on to Idaho to visit her daughter Mabel. Those who attended the farewell party at Oak City last Friday for J. Lee Anderson were Mr. and Mrs. John Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson, and Dene and Gene Dutson Dut-son and wives, and Jeff Finlinson. We all certainly enjoyed the delicious de-licious chicken noodle soup and hot rolls and ice cream served by the Relief Society women. Lee Williams was home from St. George where he is attending col- lege. He was home to spend the week end with his parents a week ago. Mr. and Mrs. Oxel Johnson arrived arriv-ed home from Denver last week. They had a very pleasant time visiting vis-iting their daughter, Myrl, who is on a mission in the western states. Captain Theon Finlinson gave a very interesting talk in Sunday night church a week ago. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson and nephew, Ray Anderson, drove to Salt Lake City for the week end. Ray has just received his discharge from the service. Dene and Gene Dutson and wives attended the basketball game and dance in Delta Saturday night. They had a nice time visiting with some of their former school friends. " |
