Show Sutherland . . . Tansta Sor.naon On Monday evening the Primary officers and 'teachers entertained at a farewell' party for Mr. and Mrs. Otto Anderson, nt the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tat Barney. On the same evening the young people peo-ple entertained in the 1!. S. hall in honor of Ralph and Beryl An- ' rierson. Mr. an Mrs. Anderson and their family left this week for Benjamin, where they will make their home. The P. T. A. held their meeting on Monday evening, with a program pro-gram as follows: reading, Flora Sanford; duet, Pella Johnson and Miss Ovorson; reading. Mary Tip-pelts, Tip-pelts, piano duct, Virginia and Phyllis Clark, and remarks by Bert Johnson, president; Mr. Johnson said that elans were well under way on their project of building a puiy room on the school. Election of officers was held, with Nella Jackson, president, Mrs. Overson, vice president, Tannetta Sorenson, secretary and treasurer. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Preston Hansen of Spring City is visiting his sister, Mrs. Leslie Porter Por-ter and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Moulton received re-ceived a telegram from the navy that their son Lee. is seriously ill with pneumonia in San Diego. Mrs. Moulton is in Provo, awaiting further fur-ther word as to his condition. Miss Nell Wixom of Salt Lake is spending a few days with her sister. sis-ter. Mrs. Bert Sanford. Mrs. Amnion Johnson gave a pnr-ty pnr-ty on Satruday afternoon for her daughter. Bonnie, on her seventh birthday. A group of young people were entertained on Sunday evening at the home of Delia Johnson, in honor hon-or of Aileen Anderson. Mrs. Bernard Jackson gave a party par-ty on Wednesday afternoon in honor of her son Lonnie, on his eighth birthday. Betty Grace Barney visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Avon Barney, Bar-ney, during the week, while in this county on her work. Mr. and Mrs. Barney drove her to Richfiled on Monday, where she will be for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Max Johnson and children, Bernard Jackson and son, Lonnie. drove to Salt Lake City on Friday to visit their parents, returning re-turning Sunday night. The Relief Society held their annual an-nual party 01 Monday evening and served dinner for 100. Later in the evening dancing was enjoyed. enjoy-ed. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bohn and baby, ba-by, from Provo. spent the weekend visiting with their aunt. Mrs. Pat Barney, and uncles, Eart and Amnion Am-nion Johnson, and Alvin Bohn of Delta. |
