Show D.H.S. Notes. . X-RAY UNIT March 27 and 28 the state board of health will bring a portable X-ray X-ray unit to Delta. All food handlers bus drivers, teachers, and juniors and seniors will have 2 pictures taken to see if they have any signs of tuberculosis. This service is free and we hope everyone will take advantage of it. ORATORICAL CONTEST A very interesting oratorical contest con-test took place here Monday afternoon after-noon when the students contested to determine the two woh would represent the school in a contest with Hinckley later in the afternoon. after-noon. Clint Larsen (The Veterans and Their Problem); Norene Clothier Cloth-ier (Development of Character); Arvilla Jensen (Traffic Death); Barbara Sorensen (Lincoln, A Defender De-fender of the Constitution); Bruce Hilton (Lincoln, a Man. of the People); Peo-ple); Marylin Abbott (Religion), and Sandy Sanford (The Fulfillment Fulfill-ment of an American Dream) were the contestants. Miss Sorenson and Mr. Sanford were the winners of the spirited contest. Seldom has a high school student's speech moved mov-ed an audience as did that of Mr. sanford. Miss Sorenson's and Mr. Hilton's speeches gave a splendid appreciation for Lincoln and his ideals. Mr. Larsen in behalf of the returning veteran, appealed to the ' reason of the audience.. GO TO B A C SATURDAY Saturday is vocational day at the B A C in Cedr with Mrs. Snow, Mr. Ogden and Mr. Snow taking . students to participate.
