Show ftae Ceremony Unites Couple ; k Hinckley In a profusion of flowers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alma West-l West-l ern in Hinckley, their daughter, ! Beth Western Whittacre, and Vernon Ver-non Woffinden were married on Saturday, June 11th by Bishop Walter Ekins, in a double-ring ceremony. The bride wore a dress of white brocaded organdy. Her corsage was of roses, with- trimmings. Other flowers were placed abundantly abund-antly about the house, with bouquets bou-quets of roses, snapdragons, pinks and Sweet Williams enhancing the room. Present were immediate members mem-bers of the Western family, including in-cluding the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Western; the bride's two . grandparents, Mrs. Western and Mrs. Stanworth, the bride's sister, Alice Hawthorne and her husband of Delta, and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Western of Provo. A three-tier wedding cake was cut and served at the dinner which followed. Both the bride and groom are residents of "Salt Lake City, and they will reside there in the future. The groom is a photographer, and is the owner of Intermountain Studios in Salt Lake City. |
