Miss Ruby Allen of Provo is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Dick .Hayes tor a few days. ' Gene and Don Benson who have been sick with the Mumps are tully recovered. Mr. C. E. Simpson and M. E Majers spent Saturday and Sunday Sun-day with their families Mrs. Roy Aitkins and daughter, Eloise, spent a week in Provo with Mr. Aitkins. Mr and Mrs. Ray Mills and tamily are spending a week in fish Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Harry McCardel and son went to Provo and visited Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ogden. Mrs. Lenora Simmons and Mrs Irene Lacy drove Mrs. Thelma Clark and children home from Pocatella Friday. Mr. and Mrs Clark spent a few days in Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Terry and Forrest are here from Cedar City visiting their son, Farrell and Roy is doing some fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Ivie and daughter, Nancy Lee, have moved to Provo. We regret all our good friends and neighbors are leaving Hattie has helped Cora in the postoffice for some time and will be missed by everyone. Eddie Dutson spent Friday in Salt Lake. Monday afternoon, Mrs. Mae Middleton and two children of Monta Bella, Cal., drove from Cedar Ced-ar City and spent the week with her brother Carl Beh'son & family. Tuesday, Mrs. Mae Middleton and children were dinner guests of Mrs. Rachael Simpson and Jay. Mrs. Charlie Williams visited Tuesday with Mrs. Rachael Simpson. Simp-son. Mrs. Mary Smith and daughter, Annette went to Salt Lake and enjoyed Mrs. Smith's Birthday with her children. She is now visiting in Magna with her daughter, Alice and family, Mrs. Smith's son, Albert Al-bert Clark is in the Holy Cross hospital suffering from an injured eye. Mrs. Rachael Simpson and Nancy Nan-cy Lynn Majers went to TOD Park Wednesday and visited Mr. and Mrs. Don Williams and in Tooele with Mrs. Bus Bennett also Mrs. Ruby Talbot and son, Milt, who is suffering from a broken leg. They went to Salt Lake Saturday bringing bring-ing Frankie Clark with them for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Wilcox and children are ill with the chicken pox. Miss Cora Paxton spent Sunday in Delta visiting friends. Mrs. Sterling Nielson and baby spent a few days in Leamington with Mr. Nielson's family. Given Sherrif who has been quite ill had her tonsils removed and , Steven and Gene Majers are fully ful-ly recovered from the measles. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Roper visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Roper spent the week end in Oak City and Delta. Mrs. Kurt Johnson and daughter, daugh-ter, Joann and son, George, went to Los Angeles to visit her sister Mrs. Frank Benson and family. Velda Sheriff is visiting in Salt Lake with her brother, Alan and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shipley went to Spanish Fork, where they had their son, Bart's, tonsils removed.' Mrs. Ruth Abeglin is in Provo where she is attending summer school. Carl Whatcott is also attending at-tending school in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Clead Nielson went to Spanish Fork Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson and son, Ross, and Tilman went to Hurricane Saturday to see Mr John son's parents who have been ill. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Whatcott and Darrell visited in Lynndyl all week Darrell has returned from school. Clyde Roper is now suffering from Mumps. |
