' 1 Lane Martino I Dave Caitro Three Southern Utah State College football players have been honored by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Defensive end Lane Martino, linebacker Dave Castro, and tight end Kit Janes were named to the honorable mention all-America all-America n squad. Martino was also chosen honorable mention last season. Castro was recently named to the all-Mountainwest all-Mountainwest magazine team. All three were selected to both the all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and all-NAIA all-NAIA District Seven teams. Janes is a four-year let-terman let-terman from Kanab. He is 6-6 6-6 and weighs 230 pounds. During 1978, he grabbed 34 passes for 529 yards and four touchdowns. Castro is a 6-0 220-pound senior from La Mirada, California. He led the Thunderbirds, RMAC, and NAIA District Seven in tackles with 186. Martino, a three-year starter from Price, is 6-3 and weighs 230 pounds.
