Show Parowan Church Softball exploded with hits and runs and there was just no stopping them. The Summit team scored 27 hits and 25 runs. The First-Second Ward team came up with eight hits but only scored two runs (scored by Carol Hanks and Danette Davis. The next game games are scheduled for June 23. Parowan First vs Enoch at 5:30 and Parowan Third vs Summit at 7:00. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come and enjoy the games. PAROWAN- On June 16, the Stake Aaronic Priesthood Young Women started their summer softball program. Each Thursday evening two games will be played, at 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. (There will be no games on June 30) All games will be played on the church ballfield (Little League Ballpark) in Parowan. On the first week go-round, go-round, Paragonah was shaken by Parowan Third Ward with a score of 11-3. The Paragonah Ward got their hits from DeAnn Robinson, Tammy and Beverly Robinson, Barbara Davenport, Nicole Barton, and Lori Robinson, giving them a total of eight hits. Scoring the runs were Beverly and Quentin Robinson and Barbara Davenport. Scoring the runs for Parowan Third were Wendy Stubbs, Lisa Stolk, Gaelene and Raelene Mitchell, Mit-chell, Michelle Bentley, Maria Church, Sydney Stevens, and Paula Benson, eleven runs on eleven hits. The 7:00 game found the mixed First and Second Ward team in a bit of a pinch. The Summit Ward |
