Show Rotary Club installs New Officers Installation of newly elected officers of the Cedar City Rotary Club will be held Saturday evening at Zion Canyon Lodge. John H. Froyd will take over as president of the Cedar City service group at the special affair. He will succeed Darrell H. Matthews as president. Other officers who will be installed include: Dr. Paul R. Lunt and Haymer Morris as vice presidents; Steve D. Thomas, secretary; Giles H. Bolander, treasurer and Jack Carter as Sargent-at-arms. Members of the board who will assume offic are Dr. John Emo and Verge Smith. Cedar City Rotary Charter was organized June 10, 1925. Froyd will be the club's 52nd president. The Cedar City Rotary Club has participated extensively in educational scholarship programs and a special foreign student exchange program. They have also supported, through an annual financial drive, the Cedar Breaks District of the Boy Scouts of America. The club has assumed the Boy Scout drive for the past 30 years. |
