Show Juvenile Court occupies new offices The employees of the Cedar City Office of the Fourth District Juvenile Court have outgrown the space formerly occupied and have now moved to new and larger offices across the hall. The address is still the same and people needing to contact the agency will still find it at 689 South 75 East, Cedar City. The new offices occupy the space formerly used by the Social Security Administration in Dr. J. Garth Chatterley's Clinic Building just south and west of the Valley View Medical Center. The new space makes it possible for the addition of a courtroom at the location and patrons will not now need to go to Parowan as they formerly did for court appearances. The Cedar City Office is headquarters for an eight county district comprised of Sevier, Wayne, Piute, Garfield, Beaver, Iron, Kane and Washington Counties, with Judge Joseph E. Jackson presiding in each of the eight counties. The Cedar City office can aptly be called the nerve center for the district since the office has a computer terminal ter-minal and much of the information in-formation engendered by referrals from the other seven counties is channeled through the Cedar City office where it is fed into the statewide information system. |
