Jackie usually uses that week for a family visit in Houston but they swear that this time she's contemplating matrimony with longtime boyfriend Dennis Cole. At least that's her state of mind as of right now . . . David Soul seemed all shook up by a rumor that his ex-wife Karen Carlson planned to marry Jess Vint. He phoned to ask if it was true and when Karen assured him she had no specific marriage plans, David heaved a sigh of relief. . .You may not know it but Phyllis Dlller is an accomplished pianist and what's more, she's got her order in for a Bosendorfer. So what's a Bosendorfer? It's a European piano said to be the Rolls-Royce of pianos and costs $35,000. But even if you've got the money you have to wait five years because they make only 100 per year. INSIDE THE TUBE: Leonard Nimoy of 'Star Trek' fame has a passion for writing poetry for his wife Sandl. The poems were too good to stuff in an old cigar box, Sandi figured, so she took them to a publisher to see what he thought. The result is a book which will be out in the winter. Herve, the sprightly midget who plays Tattoo, is a free-wheeling guy who swears, smokes cigars, comes on to the ladies and is called by one crew member a "pompous terror with a temper." Montalban, the island's bland Mr. Roarke, is an aging, conservative Latin type who blushes and raises his eyebrows when Herve acts mischievous. ON THE TV SCENE: 'The Rockford Files' star James Garner will quit the show to do remakes of Maverick.' It won't be the same, since he's almost 50. hardly the young, romantic cowboy . . . 'Police Woman' Angie Dickinson and Cliff Robertson narrowly escaped a deathly attack by a giant poisonous jellyfish while they were filming an underwater scene in Tahiti for the TV film 'Overboard,' though a crew member was bitten. Luckily he recovered . . . Blond actor Doug McClure. who played Trampas in 'The Virginian' television series, is today residing in a small cottage in London where he lives a recluse-like existence. The actor. 43. who is in the midst of his fourth divorce, describes himself as "a real hermit." "I'll be a winner again." he says optimistically. "Some people say I'm like a cat. Lay me on my back and drop me on the floor and I'll land on my feet. So I can't worry too much . . . Rob Reiner, still in hmbo over the fate of his new TV senes Free Country.' admits he misses 'All in the Family.'
