We are ' expecting perhaps our biggest crowds in the history of the fair." Minimum purses for the races will be $350, according to Stones. In addition, ad-dition, feature races are scheduled for each of the two days. The fair board plans to honor the meet's leading jockey with a special award. "Overall, this meet has grown into one of the state's best. We would like everyone to plan to attend Saturday's racing as well as Monday's," Walunas says. "Bring the entire family; the facilities are good; the seating is covered; it's great entertainment." |
