Show Summit By Donna Davenport The tuneral services held to honor Dajsy Lou Dalley Prince here Monday Aug. 14 was beautiful and inspirational. in-spirational. The church was filled to overflowing with family and friends from here and all of the surrounding communities. Many came great distances to attend. All of her family, also the family of husband James Prince were in attendance, including in-cluding Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dalley of Pleasanton, Calif. The Harold Hestands, Mr. and Mrs. Max Prince, Mr. and Mrs. II. D. Prince and family members, Miss Shirley Prince, all of the San Diego Calif, area. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lewis of Washington state and an aunt Mrs. Jack Farrow came from Washington, Ut. and Mrs. Val Williams from Bloomington. Many others too numerous to mention. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dalley spent a week here with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vermin Dalley and James Prince and family Denise and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Westwoixl and Michelle. Word of t hi- very impressive im-pressive funeral service honoring Virgie White Mickelson who was born and raised here, and after the death of her husband Peter M. Michelson in Midvale, spent some 14 years here with her sister Mrs. Helen Mathcson. The services were held in Salt Lake City with her son Melvin A. Mitchell Jr., his wife Lou and their family of Sandy all in attendance. Also sisters Mrs. Helen Matheson, Summit, Mrs. Cecil W. Lowe, Hawthorne, Nev. and Mr. and Mrs. Hob Wilkin, Pioche, Nev. A number of nieces and nephews were also there including Kevin and David Movie, Lorraine and Jerry Burns of Salt Lake City. Jim and Sherry Worley, Clearfield. Keith and Shirlynn Fenstermaker Provo and Ken and Lois - Burns, Elko, Nev. Mrs. Helen Matheson left Saturday to spend several days in Piwhe, Nev. with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wilkin. The Elders Quorum sponsored a very delicious dinner Thursday evening and were assisted by their wives. A large number of Ward members attended. Bishop and Mrs. J. Frank Dalley entertained one evening this week by having all available family members mem-bers to dinner including Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Harrison who are guests from Oakland, Calif, also sons Dennis, Gardiner and Mark Dalley, their wivces and families. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rowley and family spent the weekend in Blanding with friends the Oliver Harris family. Miss Heidi Hernando arrived here from Hawaii during the week and is a guest of the Quenton Bowler's. |
