Show Mary Biederman dies in Salt Lake hospital; services held Mary Elizabeth Rushton Biederman, 84 died March 8, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of natural cuases. She was born Dec. 3, 1892 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to John Thomas and Mary Ann Howarth Rushton. Married Albert Carl Biederman Nov. 27, 1912 in Philadelphia. He died in 1963. Mrs. Biederman was a former member of the Cedar City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by 3 daughters and a son; Mrs. Orville Jay (Grayce) Wood and Mrs. Wallace R. (Virginia) Hill both of Salt Lake City; Albert Carl Jr., of Overton, Nev. and Mrs. Kenneth W. (Jimmie Heyborne of Lander, Wyoming. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a sister Alice Stevens of Glendora, New Jersey. Funeral services were held Friday, March 11, 1977 at 3:00 p.m. at the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary Chapel in Cedar City. The family prayer and invocation in-vocation was offered by Farrell Guedmundson with Jill Win-terrose Win-terrose playing the prelude, postlude music. The opening service and scripture was given by Rev. William Slosser followed by a vocal solo "In The Garden" by Alene Chamberlain and acc. by Jill Winterrose. The speaker was Willard Lunt followed by a Soprano solo "Beyond The Sunset" by Christine Winterrose with Wourth Wood giving the benediction. At the cemetery graveside services were conducted by the order of the Eastern Star followed by the benediction by Rev. William Slosser and Earl Lawrence dedicated the grave. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetery. |
