Paragonah team leads in little League race Only two games were played play-ed in the Parowan Little League baseball schedule on the past week end, with the Friday, July 10 game having to be called because of rain it is announced by Mrs. Jo-ann Jo-ann Orton, scorekeeper. This game had Pinkham's Service laying the Dairy Freez with the rain stopping the game in the second inning. Thursday, July 9 Paragonah Paragon-ah downed Pinkham's Service by a 7 to 2 score with David Lamoreaux getting the win and Mark Benson being tagged tag-ged with the loss. The Paragonah nine racked up its second win of the week on July 13 when it took the measure of the Bank of Iron County team, 16 to 11 in a wild game. Lamoreaux was again the winner and Rulon Jenson had to take the loss. As a result of the above games, the Paragonah nine is in first place in the league, with Pinkham's Service in the second spot and the Bank and Dairy Freez teams at the bottom. bot-tom. Tonight, Thursday, July 16, The Dairy Freez meets Pinkham's Pink-ham's service; Friday night, it is the Bank of Iron County Coun-ty nine vs. Pinkham's and on Monday night it will be the Dairy Freez vs. Paragonah, Paragon-ah, with 6 p. m. as game time.
