Show : ; ; Violinist to appear here Friday r : TnWFraT Violinist Tossy Spivakovsky will present a recital on Friday, Fri-day, April 14, at the SUSC Music Recital Mall for Cedar City Music Arts patrons. The recital will begin at 8:15 p.m. Known throughout Europe and North America from his many concerts and recordings, Spivakovsky has been called a master. Possessing all the technical skills vital to a concert con-cert violinist, he can leave the technicalities behind to bring out the great beauty and feeling feel-ing of the music. For his Cedar City performance perform-ance Mr. Spivakovsky has 3hosen a program with, emphasis em-phasis on works of, the old .nasters. He will begin with the Adagio in G Minor by 17th .entury Italian composer and violinist Corelli and will conclude con-clude with four Caprices by 3ie 19th century Italian, Pag-mini. Pag-mini. A sonata by Beethoven ill be followed by a cha-:onne cha-:onne by Bach, which will be played with a curved bow of the type used by early Baroque Bar-oque violinists. The Sonata In 3 Minor toy Claude Debussy, published in 1917, will round jut the program. Lowell Farr, a native of Idaho Ida-ho and a distinguished accompanist accom-panist will be at the piano for Mr. Spivakovsky.
