Board Approves Special Personnel Travel Poway, Calif., March 18-22; Las Vegas and Mesquite, Nev., March 4-8 and Hoy, Utah February Fe-bruary 28 through March 2, and Anaheim, Calif., Feb. 27 through March 2. The board also approved travel for members of the district's dis-trict's Physical Education departments de-partments to attend the National Na-tional PE Conference to be held in Las Vegas, Nev. March 9-11. Progress report on the Par- Administrators and faculty members of the Cedar High School were granted permission permis-sion by the Iron County School Board to make a series of trips at the expense of the Kettering Ketter-ing Foundation during the next several weeks. The Cedar High School Staff will be serving in an advisory capacity in most of the excursions ex-cursions planned which include in-clude a trip to Flint, Mich., February 21 through 23 for Principal Clair Morris and Pratt Bethers. Other out-of-state trips approved ap-proved included groups to Freemont, Calif., Feb, 25-29; owan High School given by architect John Kowley indicated indicat-ed that the project was on schedule with approximately 40 percent of the structure completed. The board approved the an-nual an-nual tour of the Cedar High School combined choir on March 21 and 22 which will include concerts in Delta, Payson and South Sevier High Schools. Purchase of a portable Auditory Aud-itory System in the amount of $G32 was approved for use in the speech and hearing program pro-gram of the district. Howard N. Dalley was also reappointed as the District Clerk for a two year period and approval was given to Donald Miles to serve on the State Foreign Language Committee. Com-mittee. Approval to list the FFA farm in Parowan Valley for sale was also given at . the meeting. The property was earlier offered in a ball for bids and no sale was consum-ated. consum-ated. ' ' , |
