A troop court of honor held during National Scout Week was highlighted by the presentation presen-tation of Eagle awards to Alan Roper, left and Bryant Bry-ant Sorenson. EAGLii SCOUTS. Steven Ashworth, left and Kim Cope were presented with Eagle awards in special ceremony held Sun lay at the Cedar Fifth Ward. Ashworth, Cope Awarded Eagle Ranks sophomore at Cedar High School and had acquired 21 merit badges ' in his -road to the Eagle rank. Cope is a ninth grade student at Cedar Junior High and had also earned 21 merit badges. Both young men were challenged chal-lenged to continue their activity activ-ity in the scouting program and to conduct their lives according ac-cording to teachings acquired through the program. Steven Ashworth, son of Mr. ' and Mrs. Harold Ashworth, and Kim Cope, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter McDaniels, .were declared as Eagle Scouts . at a special Court of Honor held Sunday in connection with the Cedar LDS Fifth Ward sacrament services. The program, held on Scout Sunday, was a feature of the National Scout Week observance observ-ance and highlighted events for members of Troop 342, sponsored by the ward. Presentation of the awards was made by Harold Mace, member of the Troop com-1 mittee. In addition to the Eagle awards, other advance-1 ments and merit badges were presented to members of the troop.
