Dance Demonstration Slated by Students "Creation of the Interpretive Interpre-tive Dancer," is the theme of a dance demonstration to be presented Saturday, Feb. 25. The demonstration will be held at the College of Southern South-ern Utah small ballroom at 6:30 p. m. A total of 25 students, under un-der the direction of Mrs. Gilbert Gil-bert Hull, will demonstrate 14 areas which they believe to be a part of an interpretive and creative dancer. This background will range from tradition to awareness and from story telling to design. de-sign. The months of the year will also serve to point out the vast area of mood and personality which will include "Name-writing Pencils," "The Deer Hunt," "Eating," and "Unhatched Chicks." The music will range from a snare drum and castanets to Yma Sumac and Stravinsky. The students come from Cedar Ce-dar City and surrounding communities com-munities and their ages are j from five to 14 years. |
