All four of these team are in the round robin and these games will determine de-termine their bracket and opponent op-ponent in the coming meet. Coach Brinkerhoff informs us that the Parowan-Delta game has been moved up to Thursday night to get it away jfrorn the State Class B wrest-'ling wrest-'ling meet set for Delta on j Friday and Saturday. ning ways and handed the Millard High Eagles their second sec-ond straight defeat by a 69 to 63 score in a thrilling game played in the Parowan gym last Friday night. And by taking this win from Millard while Beaver was taking two losses on the week end, Coach Charles Brinkerhoff's team was assured of a place in the Region Eight round robin set for next week end in Cedar City. In Friday night's games the Rams snapped a four game losing streak to move into a third place tie with the Delta Rabbits, who downed Beaver at Delta by a 68 to 63 score. I Then aturday night Milford went to Beaver and downed ;the Beavers by a 79 to 59 : score, and coupled with Paro-wan's Paro-wan's Friday win over Mil-i Mil-i lard went into a first place tie with the Eagles. The win for Milford over Beaver dropped drop-ped the latter team out of the running for a place in the j round robin. Beaver, with a 2 won and 6 loss record, has fin-nished fin-nished league play for this year. , In this week end games the two leaders, Millard and Milford Mil-ford will fight it out at Milford in a game which will determine the Northern Divi- j sion champion, and Parowan will travel to Delta for a final : game with the Rabbits, with : the winner of this one to take over third place and the loser |
