Show Linford Nelson Wins Way to State Wrestling Tourney The Delta Rabbits, perennial wrestling champions of the Class B ranks walked off with practically all of the honors here Friday and Saturday as they placed 12 men in 12 events in the state finals this week. The Rabbits won 10 first places and added a pair of seconds to have their entire squad eligible for the state finals at Delta Friday and Saturday. Sat-urday. Cedar High School Redmen placed fifth in the team standings stan-dings and Linford Nelson was the only Redman to qualify for the state meet placing second sec-ond in his weight division. It is the second successive vear ' that Nelson has been the sole representative of the school in the state finals. Finishing in second place was the Miliary Eagles of Fillmore Fill-more placing one first and five in second place. In third place was the Par-owan Par-owan Rams with three men qualifying to advance to state, j Leslie Hulet won first place honors in the 98 pound class 1 and Gayle Benson and Brent Adams placed second in their respective classes.
