Show Wm. U. Thorntons Gather Here For Annual Reunion A large number of the William Wil-liam U. and Adelinda Thorn ton' descendants gathered in Parowan and at the Five Mile Forest Camp on the past week end for a family reunion. The older members of the family gathered here on Friday at the home of Mrs. Neta Thornton Thorn-ton Wells for a genealogy meeting and to work on family fam-ily grouD sheets. Saturday morning, with a large number of the grandchildren grand-children joining, the group met at the Five Mile for business bus-iness meetiner and election of officers. This resulted in the re-election of the past year's officers who are Byron Thorn-tort, Thorn-tort, president; Merrill Thornton, Thorn-ton, vice pres.; Mrs. Ted (Af-ton) (Af-ton) Werner, historian and genealogist, and Mrs. Harriet T. Hicks, secretary and treasurer. treas-urer. . Dinner was served to the group and a program was held to end Saturday's activities. activi-ties. Sunday morning, again at the Five Mile, the family held a sacrament and testimony testi-mony meeting to draw the reunion re-union to a close.
