Show Southern Utah State Bank Introduces Unusual Credit Card An unusual credit card which extends the purchasing power of Its holder to nearby states has been Introduced to this area by officials of the State Bank of Southern Utah. According to the bank president, presi-dent, Warren H. Bulloch, the Master Charge credit card Is backed by over 100 banks in Nevada and California as well as in Utah where it is being introduced this week. Over 35 banks In Utah, which represents repre-sents well over half, are Master Mas-ter Charge banks, said Mr. Bulloch. In total, over 100,000 business busi-ness establishments of various kinds accept the card for any and all purchases. Mr. Bulloch Bul-loch pointed out the card can be used for charging clothing, tires and parts for cars, lumber, tools, toys and all kinds of household goods. Services Ser-vices which can be charged include everything from dry cleaning to medical and dental den-tal bills. In addition to the three wes. tern states, there are a number of other states In the midwest and on the east coast including includ-ing N3W York and Virginia where merchants will honor the Master Charge card, because be-cause Master Charge is a member of the Interbank Card plan. Mr. Bulloch indicated that even ready cash can be obtained ob-tained with the card for nominal nom-inal fee. On the Master Charge the user receives just one monthly statement and the sales slips for all purchases made during the month. This can be paid by writing just one check. He said that there was no renewal fee nor annual an-nual dues for the card. "We are happy to participate in this all-inclusive program," Mr. Bulloch concluded. |
