Show i ; Daryl Mel Ence, Cathern j Kendall United I i Daryl Mel Ence, son of Mr.1 and Mrs. Mel Ence of Cedar City, was married June 3 to Miss Cathern Kendall, daugh-1 ter of Mr. and Mrs. Dee C. Kendall of Nephi. Scene for the double-ring nuptials service ser-vice was the historical Whit-more Whit-more home in Nephi with Bp. Kenneth J, Sperry presiding. A reception followed nuptial nup-tial vows. The bride greeted guests in a street-length long-sleeved long-sleeved lace cage over a princess prin-cess styled crepe dress. She wore a shoulder-length veil of sheer illusion caught to a crown of satin rose buds and carried a cascading bridal bouquet of white orchids sur- rounded by carnations. Bridal attendants included Mrs. Robert Steele, sister of the bride, as matron of honor, and Mrs. Charles A. Rose and Miss Marge Painter as bridesmaids. brides-maids. They wore pink whipped whip-ped cream crepe dresses with lace sleeves and carried bouquets bou-quets of pink gladiolas. Best man was John R. Logan. Lo-gan. Ushers were Brent Hunter, Hun-ter, Joe Heywood, and Gary LeBarron. Mothers of the newlyweds wc-ie uiussea in snaaes 01 pink with matching corsages of pink gladiolas. The young couple was honored hon-ored at an open house in Cedar Ce-dar City Saturday, July 1, at the home of the bridegroom's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ence. During the open house, Miss Brenda Parry and Miss Karen Ence took turns attending the guest book and Rodney Ence helped with the gifts. Miss Marge Painter and Miss Teresa Ence stood in line as bridesmaids. brides-maids. Kitchen hostesses were Mrs. Douglas Ence, Mrs. Corry Parry, and Mrs. Howard Thor-ley. Thor-ley. Serving were Kay Ann Bryant, Sharon Bulloch, Becky Gower, Mary Ann Ahlstrom, Elise Ence, Evelyn Ence, and Karen Ence. The new Mrs. Ence is a graduate of Juab High School and attended the Holy Cross School of Nursing in Salt Lake City. Mr. Ence is a graduate of Cedar High School. They are making their home In Cedar Ce-dar City where Mrs. Ence is employed at the Mountain States Telephone Company and Mr. Ence is a student at the College of Southern Utah. |
