Show CSU Board of Trustees Approve Appointments, Ok Stadium Work 1 to the board's finance committee commit-tee to accept proposals on a $60,000 loan to be used for improvement in the Zelkova Housing unit. Gifts and grants totaling $31,004 were accepted by the board, bringing the total for the fiscal year to $914,977 in gifts and grants to the College. The College of Southern Utah board of trustees made staff appointments, accepted a bid for stadium development and approved new gifts and grants during their final meeting meet-ing for the fiscal year held Friday, June 30, at the CSU campus. Retiring board members Warren H. Bulloch, Cedar City; Ci-ty; R. J. Potter, Tremonton, and Lorin Wheelwright, Salt Lake City, spoke briefly to the board. The board expressed express-ed appreciation to these members mem-bers for their work during term. Board Chairman Bulloch conducted as .staff appointments appoint-ments were made. Thomas R. Kingsford was approved as an instructor and head football coach in the School of Education Educa-tion to replace Coach Bill Reeske who resigned. Mr. Kingsford has been a coach and physical education instructor in-structor for a number of years and comes to CSU from Montana Mon-tana University Neal Allen Davidson received receiv-ed an appointment as instructor instruc-tor in Psychology in the School of Arts and Letters. Mr. Davidson David-son is completing his master of science degree at Utah State University this summer. His appointment will be effective ef-fective on Sept. 7. Robert H. Moss has been approved ap-proved as an assistant profes- sor in the school or Education to replace Dr. Kent E. Myers who is going on a leave of absence. ab-sence. The effective date for his appointment is Sept. 7. Robert A. Anderson, Jr., was approved as a counselor and coordinator of student activities. activi-ties. Mr. Anderson, a former CSU student and vice president presi-dent of the student body, has been working as resident director di-rector and counselor at Wenat-chee Wenat-chee Valley College in Washington. Wash-ington. John Q. Cannon, Jr., was appointed ap-pointed coordinator or placement place-ment and financial aid to replace re-place Van Bushnell who is going go-ing on leave. Mr. Cannon has been at Brigham Young University Uni-versity completing a master's degree. His appointment was effective on July 1. The board approved the recommendation rec-ommendation of its buildings and grounds committee that a $66,653 bid be accepted from Carter Brothers for stadium development. Included in this project will be shaping the gation system, and develop-stadium develop-stadium bowl track construction, construc-tion, installation of an irri-ment irri-ment of the stadium field.
