Show Two-Week Institute On Shakespeare Opens at College A two-week Institute of Shakespearean Studies began at College of Southern Utah Wednesday, July 5. The course will cover the life, times, and works of William Shakespeare, with special emphasis on successfully suc-cessfully presenting Shakespeare's Shakes-peare's works on the secondary second-ary and elementary levels. Specialized workshops in music, dance, puppetry, and production will be provided. The staff includes Prof. Fred Adams, CSU; Dr. Thomas Markus, University of California; Cali-fornia; Dr. Michael Addison, University of California; Prof. Douglas Cook, University of California; and many other assistant staff members. Institute participants will have the opportunity of observing ob-serving the preparation and production of plays to be staged stag-ed for the sixth annual Utah Shakespearean Festival beginning be-ginning July 13 at CSU. The institute will be held daily from 9 a. m. to 12 noon and 1 p. m, to 4 p. m. Those taking the course may receive re-ceive five hours credit. |
