Show Janice Williams Recitess Michigan Vows The Westwood Methodist Church in Kalamazoo, Mich, was the setting for the double-ring double-ring wedding rites June 17 uniting Miss Janice Eleanor Williams and Thomas Lawrence Law-rence Roeder, Jr. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Williams of Cedar City and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Roeder Roe-der of Oak Lawn, 111. The Rev. Paul E. Patterson officiated from an altar graced grac-ed with white gladioli, yellow daisies and mums. Candela-braes Candela-braes on both sides were lighted light-ed before the ceremony. Tra-! Tra-! ditional wedding music was ' played by Miss Joan McClure of Needham, Mass. organist. Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father, fa-ther, the bride wore a floor-length floor-length A-line gown of nylon organza styled with a bateau neckline, elbow length sleeves accented with lace Bid se-' se-' quins and a Watteau chapel length train with lace and sequines extending from the I neckline down to and edging I the circular train. Her bouffant bouf-fant silk illusion veil fell from a profile of organza roses and pearl trimmed petals. The bride chose as her jewelry, a single strand of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom. Her wedding wed-ding bouquet was of cascading cascad-ing white daisies with fern, net and gold velvet ribbon. The , bride carried out tradition i with a blue garter and a shilling shil-ling in her shoe belonging to her mother. j Maid of honor was Ruth A. Morriss of South Amboy, N. J. who wore a floor length pale j green gown and matching shoes, Her headpiece was a green bow under a veil of illusion il-lusion and she carried a nosegay nose-gay of yellow daisies. Mrs. Bobbie Dee Davis of Cedar City was matron of honor hon-or for her sister. She was attired at-tired in a yellow gown identical iden-tical to the maid of honors' and also carried a nosegay of yellow daisies. Anthony Lux of Kalamazoo served as best man and John Bray and Edward Neisingh were ushers. All three young men were classmates of the bridegroom at Kalamazoo College. Col-lege. For her daughter's wedding the bride's mother chose a pale pink sheath dress with white embroidery and pearl buttons down the front, a pink flowered hat, white shoes and gloves and a white carnation carna-tion and pink rose corsage. The bridegroom's mother was attored in a beige sheath with matching coat, beige hat, gloves and shoes and a white carnation and yellow rose corsage. cor-sage. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the social so-cial room at the church. The serving table was centered with a three-tiered wedding cake decorated with yellow roses and topped with yellow and white bells. Assisting with the serving were Miss Judy Atwood of Chicago, Mrs. Linda Lin-da Thelan of Laramie, Wyo., and Miss Diane Serdal of Kalamazoo. Kal-amazoo. Miss Debbie Serdel presided at the guest book. Following the reception the young couple left for Chicago. The bride wore a gray linen dress with pink accessories. The couple are at home at 5959 South Menard Ave., Chicago, Chi-cago, 111. |
