Show I Final Rites Honor Barbara W. Lawrence Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Cedar Fifth Ward Chapel Wednesday afternoon af-ternoon for Mrs. Rosa Barbara Wagner Lawrence, 84, who died Sunday, July 7, of natural causes. Burial was in the Cedar Ce-dar City cemetery. Mrs. Lawrence was born Sept. 11, 1883, at Altamount, South Dakota, a daughter of Christian and Anna Agust Schief Wagner. She married Thomas Lawrence, April 26, 1904, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, She is survived by her husband, hus-band, and the following sons and daughters: Benjamin Earl, Thomas, Jr., Mrs. Arvil (Pearl) ,Stapley, Mrs. Harry (Barbara) , Bauer, all of Cedar City; Em-' Em-' est Edwards, Provo; Joseph Frederick, Lander, Wyo.; David, Dav-id, Norwalk, Calif.; Mrs. Lar-kin Lar-kin (Ruth) Gifford, Mrs. Ed-ward Ed-ward (Bess) Fitzinger, Las Vegas. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 42 great-grand-children; a brother and sisters; Benjamin Wagner, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mlrilla Foulger, Mrs. Ruth Erickson, Mrs. Mamie Ma-mie Haker, all Idaho. Speakers at the funeral ser-vices ser-vices were James Heywood and Charles R. Hunter. Invocation Invo-cation was by Alma Lawrence, benediction by Lorrlane Con-die, Con-die, and dedication of the grave by Clemont Adams. Prayer at the Mortuary was by Neil Peterson. The musical program included in-cluded a vocal duet, "Come Unto Me and Rest" by Mamie Eck and Lois McConnell; a ocal duet, "Face to Face" by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wood, and a vocal ' solo, "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked" by Christine Winterrose. |
