Show j : ; John Conrad Naegle Family Has Reunion ' Some 150 descendants of '-John Conrad Naegle, early Southern Utah pioneer and colonizer, met in their blen- 1 nial "round up" at Toquer- ville Saturday, July 6. Toquer-! Toquer-! ville was one of the communities commun-ities John C. Naegle helped to establish. Family members came from : many parts of Utah, Idaho, '. Arizona, California, and Ore-; Ore-; gon. Activities started with a get acquainted social Friday night. Saturday morning, hay rack rides were taken to points of family interest. A business and genealogical meeting followed, made interesting in-teresting with reports and talent tal-ent numbers furnished by family members. At noon, a deep pit barbecue of beef and buttalo meat was served in the old rock church. Otficers of the isaegle family organization who were in cnarge of the round up were: Bob and Addie Naegle, Lynn and Ruth Naegle, Toquerville; Than and Cherrie Naegle, Bountiful; lone and Judith Ann Moss. Salt Lake City. Chosen to head the family organization and prepare for the next round up, to be held in Mesa, Ariz., in April, 1970, were: George Z. Naegle, Bountiful, Boun-tiful, president; Calvin J. Bate-man, Bate-man, St. David, Ariz., 1st vice president; Than Naegle, Bountiful, Boun-tiful, 2nd vice president; La-nell La-nell N. Lunt, Cedar City, 3rd vice president; LaVelle Moss, Provo, secretary treasurer; Carol Chrlstensen, Salt Lake City, genealogist; Judith Ann Moss, Salt Lake City, historian. |
