Show NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER SALE NATIONAL FOREST TIM-BER TIM-BER SALE, DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST, KANAB CREEK SALE, located Within T37S, R-4VaW; R-4VaW; T38S, R4V2W; T38S, R-5W; R-5W; T39S, R5W, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. SEALED bids will be received by the Regional Forester or his authorized representative, at the office of the Forest Supervisor, Super-visor, Forest Service Building, Cedar City, Utah, 84720, at 11:00 a. m., M.D.T., June 3, 1968, to be followed immediately immed-iately by oral bidding, for an estimate 23,300 M board feet of live and recently dead (sound sapwood) timber marked mark-ed or otherwise designated for cutting. The minimum acceptable accept-able bid per M board feet is: Ponderosa pine and limber pine $3.00; Douglas-fir, $4.08; Englemann spruce, $2.88; and white fir and alpine fir, $2.36. Additional deposit required for slash disposal is $0.49 M board feet of all species. The. prices bid for stumpage are flat rates. In addition, there is within the sale area an un-estimated un-estimated volume of older dead (unsound sapwood) timber tim-ber of all species which will be paid for at a flat rate of $1.00 per M board feet. The r-squired bid guarantee is $3,200. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. Full information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and the submission of bids .should be obtained from the District Ranger, Powell Ranger Ran-ger District, Panguitch, Utah; the Forest Supervisor, Forest Service Building, Cedar City, Utah; or the Regional Forester, Fores-ter, Federal Building, Ogden, Utah.
