Show LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Fellow Taxpayers, Cedar City is a fine place a ll.,n XT.. i l i I Isfy them. Immediate parity with other institutions is too J to live. We have splendid weather, wea-ther, awesome scenery, and amiable neighbors. We even have a good college, with a surprisingly excellent faculty and administration. It's too bad that we are going to loose some of the very valuable members of the faculty. It's too bad, because they'd like to stay, and we need them. Unfortunately, the contracts they were offered for next year are forcing many of them to consider leaving. You can't blame them much. The pay is much better anywhere any-where else. We, as taxpayers, pay for it, and we, as taxpayers, will ultimately ulti-mately determine its future. If we, as citizens of Southern Utah, demand parity for ourselves, our-selves, we will get it. We cannot expect the state administration ad-ministration to care more than we do. If we are Indifferent, so shall they be. There aren't many people down here in the tag end of the state. We don't make much noise. But if we are going to compete for our fair share of state funds, perhaps we should be heard from. The men on the faculty of CSU are not greedy.
