Show ENOCH MD MIDVilLLEY NEWS Mrs. Veda Matheson Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson were in Salt Lake City Sunday and Monday. The Iron County Farm Bureau Bur-eau held its monthly meeting Wednesday of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nelson. The meeting was combined with a buffet supper sup-per as a thank you party for outgoing officers. Mr. and Mrs, DeWayne Alger Al-ger had their small daughter Sherry in the hospital for a few days with Asthma. Another An-other child, Brian, had the misfortune to have his shirt catch on fire and was in the hospital overnight with burns on his chest and arms. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Murie and family went to Trovo Friday Fri-day to see Charlene and then on to Bountiful to see Mrs. Cora Murie. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Richardson Richard-son and daughters Mary, Van-na, Van-na, and Elonor went to Safford, Ariz., Wednesday of last week to be present at an Open House hold for George and Eloa Battraw. Cathy Matheson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson Math-eson and Carolyn Matheson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson, attended a dental convention in Salt Lake City the latter part of last week. Dee Wilckon took the VICA club from Cedar High School to Prove, and Salt Lake City the end of last week. Tlie Enoch Ward Primary held its annual outing Saturday. Satur-day. The children were transported trans-ported by the teachers to the Sand Dunes northwest of Cedar Ce-dar City where they had lunch. Dennis Chapman took a group of his Seminary stud-dents stud-dents to Fillmore Saturday. Vicky Matheson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson and Angela Matheson, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson Ma-theson were among the students stu-dents participating. Delia Garfield was in Richfield Rich-field two days last week with the Public Health Service. Mrs. Virginia Speirs and children were in Salt Lake City Saturday and Sunday of last week for a visit with Virginia's parents. Mrs. Jennie Shorratt and children were in St. George on Saturday to attend a birthday celebration for her mother, Mrs.' Martha Hafen. Eva Grimshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Grimshaw and' 'Kristine Nelson, daughter daught-er of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nelson Nel-son were' in Salt Lake City last week end for the United States Model Assembly as delegates del-egates from Cedar City High School. |
