Show Industrial Arts Boys Tour Utah's Plants On Thursday of last week the older boys from industrial arts dept., and their instructor Willis Robinson, joined Cedar High students and Mr. Dee Wilcken for a three day visit to the northern part of the state. Thursday moring they visited vis-ited U. S. Steel at Geneva and the Utah Trade Tech in Provo. Utah Tech College, Boise Cascade Component Div., Bennett's Ben-nett's Paints, Ajax Press and EIMCCO in the Salt Lake area were next on the agenda. The boys were very interested in the various trades and the training necessary for jobs. Perhaps the highlight of the trip came Saturday as they visited the "Salt Palace", the Salt Lake City and County Civic auditorium project. They were impressed with the size of the project, the work going into it and are looking forward for-ward to visiting it again when it is completed. Milton Hulet, Larry Van Ausdal. Robprt Barton Allan Bess, Sam Halterman, Lloyd Stubbs, Keith Stubbs, Guy Rowley and Mike Pritchard made the trip. |
