Show Big Cedais Club The Big Cedars Club, which is the Cedar Chapter of the national TOPS Club, saw the old year out with the installation installa-tion of new officers and a Christmas party. New officers installed at their Dec. 6 meeting are as follows: Katherine Esplin, leader; Robyn Bancroft, co-leader; co-leader; Joy Stevens, secretary; Raina Bishop, treasurer; Utah-na Utah-na Heap, reporter and photographer; photo-grapher; and Yvonne Ash-down, Ash-down, weight recorder. Joy Stevens was honored at the January 3 meeting for having lost the most weight in December. Special honor was also given to Elaine Nelson Nel-son as queen of the year. Since she lost the most weight during dur-ing 1967, she will represent the club at the state convention conven-tion later this year. Former leader, Veda Matheson, Math-eson, was given a corsage in honor of the fact that she lost some weight each week while she was leader of the club. Utahna Heap was presented with a basket of fruit for having hav-ing lost the most weight during dur-ing the first week in January. Karlene Bradshaw was the guest speaker last night at the club's weekly meeting which is held in the basement of the Cedar City Library. |
