Show Jeep Patrol Holds Social in New Club House The Annual Christmas Party of the Iron County Sheriff's Jeep Patrol was held Dec. 29 in the Patrol's new club house north of the Painted Hills Golf Course. Patrol members and their wives were given an unusual un-usual welcome as each truck or jeep plowed and skidded through a foot of snow on the temporary road to reach the building. After thawing out in front of the welcome fire in the huge fireplace, an almost futile fu-tile attempt was made to consume con-sume the overly abundant buffet luncheon provided by the wives of the auxiliary to the Jeep Patrol. Opening of white elephant presents added add-ed to the merry evening. The social was concluded by dancing danc-ing to recordings and the return re-turn trip through the deep snow. |
