Show NEWS FROM PARAGONAH j Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lister and their younger sons arrived from Las Vegas last week to spend a few days at their summer home here. Lamarr Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson, is in Mountain Home, Idaho, at present pre-sent for his KOTC Field Training which last for a month. Mr, and Mrs. Clyde Lamoreaux and their three children of Murray Mur-ray arrive here Friday to visit until Sunday witli Clyde's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux. Lamor-eaux. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Miller and four of their children of Mrigham City arrived here Thursday Thurs-day to visit until Saturday with Mr. Miller's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth CI. Topham. Mrs. Betty Topham and son Barry of Taylorsville arrived here Saturday to visit for a time with the Kenneth Tophams. The little gills have been here for sevral weeks. Mrs. Zclma Uobb and Mrs. Sandra San-dra Stevens traveled to La Mesa, Calif., last week to complete moving mov-ing arrangements for the Stevens Ste-vens family. They returned here Saturday and Jack has also joined join-ed his family here. Shanna, Richard and Linda Jol-ley Jol-ley of Cedar City were here to spend the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. II. Revere Robinson. Lee Arlen Topham went to Grand Canyon Saturday night for a weekend visit with his brother, Lynn Kay, who is working there this summer. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson and their family of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the James II. Anderson home. The older girls, (Jail and Louise had each spent a few days here witli their grandparents during the week. Ricky, Todd and Chad Robinson Robin-son children of Mr. and Mrs. An-tone An-tone Robinson went to Cedar City Monday for an overnight stay with the Jimmy Anderson family-Miss Becky Abbott of Murray has been here for the past week visiting with her grandmdther, Mrs. Myrtle Abbott and the Myron My-ron Abbott family. Mr. and Mrs. Logan Bryant and family of Glendale, Calif., visited here Friday with Mr. Bryant's aunt, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Mrs. Kim a Simkinss of Ci-dar City visited hero Tuesday of last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Topham. Her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. (Jlenna Dodge was here Wednesday with the Tophams. Miss Genie Edwards of Spring Valley, Calif., arrived hen? the first of last week to visit with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Row. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Benson and daughters of Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Mortensen and sons of 1'a rowan were Sunday visitors at the Jop Lamoreaux home. Mrs. Idella Robinson and Mrs. Roka Thornton were released from the Presidency of the YW-MIA YW-MIA Sunday. A new set of officers offic-ers was installed, including Mrs. Helen Barton and Mrs. Kva Loit Lamoreaux, counsellors. Mr. and Mrs. LaNell Topham and small son of San Francisco, Calif., arrived here Wednesday of last week to visit until Friday with LaNell's mother, Mrs. Bertha Ber-tha S. Topham. Mrs. Bertha S. Topham belatedly belated-ly reports a trip to Salt Lake City where .she visited with family members and attended a Stevens family reunion. One of the highlights high-lights of her trip was a visit to the Church Storage Vaults in Cotton Wood canyon. She made the trip with her sister, Mrs. Lois Blood of Cedar City. Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Hunt and famly of Stockton and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Workman of Salt Lake City were here for their sister's wedding. Bernell and family remained re-mained for a longer stay. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Deil and family fam-ily of Tooele and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Burt and baby of Salt Lake City were here for the Adams-Hunt Adams-Hunt wedding. They visited with Mrs. Rosella Barton. Mrs. Electa Zahriskie and granddaughter Holly were here from Caliente, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Rogeis from Cedar City. Adams relatives present at the wedding and reception 'included Mr. and Mrs. Willard Jones and family, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Daly, Mrs. Olive Maxwell and daughter Patsy of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson and family, Enoch; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Foster and family, Durango, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Skimore and family of Tooele, Lloyd Adams, Glen S. Holyoak and Mrs. Glenna Orton, Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Stones announce an-nounce the arrival of a new grandchild, a boy born on Aug. 10 to Milo and Marion Stones of Ogden. Mrs. Mary Robinson had visit ers with her last week end. Her brother and sister-in-law Mr.! and Mrs. Ray MeConkie of Ver- nal were here Friday. Saturday Sandra arrived from Salt Lake City with her fiance, Keith Peck, and her employer, Blaine Wilcox, who was in this area on business. busi-ness. They visited here until Sunday Sun-day evening. Mrs. Margene Bayles and daughter Debbie of Las Vegas visited at the Chester Robinson home Tuesday of last week. They were joined by Mrs. Cleo Edwards Ed-wards and children of Cedar City. A special going away dinner party was held at Cedar Breaks Wednesday evening of last week in honor of Mrs. Dolores Robinson Robin-son and children. Present for the occasion were the Ralph Kdwards family of Cedar City, the Ronald Robinson family of Parowan, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Robinson. De-lores De-lores and the childon left for In-linois In-linois Sunday. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson took them to Milford Saturday night to board the train. The family will make a home in Lombard, 111., after disposing of their Addison Ad-dison residence last spring. De-lores De-lores and the four children have been visiting here for the past two months |
