Show Premium Books Now Available For County Fair Events Sept. 3, 4, and 5 With the Iron County Fair less than three weeks away, scores of county residents are putting the finishing touches on details for the big, three-day event. Exhibits Ex-hibits and varied entertainment will highlight the Labor Day week end in Parowan with the Queen Pageant in Cedar City on Friday, Sept. 2 to prelude the celebration. The 1!)G6 Fair Premium books are now available, according to Fair Board chairman D. A. Stones. They should be secured immediately by every potential exhibitor in the county, and should be studied carefully. They may be obtained free for the asking at the offices of the Chamber of Commerce, the State Fish and Game office and the extension agents office in Cedar City. In Parowan the books will be available at the County Court house and at most of the business busi-ness houses. In Kanarraville they will be placed at Lovell's Ranch Cafe and at Wood's Service Serv-ice in the Escalante Valley. In Summit copies will be placed at the Dee White home, and at the post office and Alma's Store in Paragonah. The Fair books make valuable souvenirs of Iron County's traditional tradi-tional celebration and contain much information and instructions instruc-tions for those who are interested in exhibiting, pictures of officials, offi-cials, board members and department de-partment heads are shown; and all assistants and division committees com-mittees are listed along with extensive ex-tensive premium lists. Iron County Commissioner Norman Nor-man Day represents that body on the Fair Board. Chairman D. A. Stones is assisted by Mrs. Stones and by Mrs. Carma Hu-let, Hu-let, secretary and treasurer. Other Oth-er board members include Milt Jolley, who is in charge of the Labor Day parade as well as the industrial exhibits; J. Dean Anderson, the Queen Pageant; Roos Woolsey, Pony Express race. Mrs. Hulda M. Hulet is in charge of the Fair Book and publicity pub-licity while Mrs. Yyonne Chamberlain Cham-berlain handles the Fair book advertising sales and the modern mod-ern dancing arrangements.
