Show Increases in Teacher Salaries in County School District Detailed by Foundation Study boost averaging $200 next year, the report continues. For the state as a whole, teachers salary increases in-creases will average nearly $400 next year. The Foundation analysis shows that a teacher with a bachelor degree who began his teaching career in the Iron County School District during the 1962-63 school year received a starting salary of $4,332. Approximately half of these increases in-creases have come from general salary increases in the salary schedule scale, with the remain- der being the annual increments for teaching experience. The combined increase amounts to $1,368 or 32 for the four-year period.
