Show NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE Phil McGlono, who passed away ' Doc. 10. Mr. McGleno was a resi- dent of Pinto and Caliente, and spent a great deal of time in Newcastle. His funeral was held In the Caliente ward on Dec. 14. weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christenson. Mrs. Steele is a sister to Norma. The ward MIA held their Christmas Christ-mas fireside Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Sterl-ing Tullis. Christmas carols were sung by the group, after which Boyd B'-'agley of Cedar City was the guest speaker. Refreshments were served after the talk. The MIA held their annual Christmas party Tuesday night, in the form of a hayride for carolers. car-olers. After caroling around town, they returned to the church for the remainder of the party and sandwiches and hot chocolate. Mrs. Iva Harrison visited in New Harmony at the home of her father, Ashby Pace, to help him celebrate his brithday. Albert and Richard Harrison traveled to Calient, Nevada, to attend the funeral services of Mrs. Norma Chris tensen The Christmas lights are up In town, and with everyone having lights on their homes, it certainly certain-ly makes Hie town look festive. They visited at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Sherman Sher-man Bcacham and also with Katherine's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Stirling of Kaysville. We have all of our college students home for the Christmas holidays. They are Linda and Janice Christonsen, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christonsen; Christon-sen; Dan and Jim Tullis, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis; Kathie Knell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Knell; Rodney, Jeannie, and Elaine Forsyth, son and daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth.
