Show Husband of Former 'Resident Will Gain High Position ! The husband of a former Iron County resident will be appoint- ed deputy district attorney of Ormsby County, Nev., in Janu- jary, it is announced by District I Attorney-elect, Robert List. Chosen Chos-en to serve in this position is j Michael E. Fondi, whose wife is the former Mary Jean Halterman. Halter-man. He is also the son-in-law of former Parowan residents, Ar-vell Ar-vell Halterman and the late Maude Mitchell Halterman of Ely. The couple and their two vounsr sons. David, three, and Tony, one, reside in Carson City where Mr. Fondi has been deputy depu-ty district attorney general for the past 18 months. He was also an administrative assistant to Governor Grant Sawyer from 1963 to June, 1965. Attorney Fondi graduated from Stanford University in 1959 with a degree in political science. He graduated from the University of California Hastings College of Law in 1962 and has been admitted to practice law in both Nevada and California. He has also been admitted to practice prac-tice before the United States District Dis-trict Court for the northern district dis-trict of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association. |
