While here with Roland, Ellen is also visiting with her mother, Mrs. Cora Murie. The annual Primary Christmas Party will be held this year on Friday, Dec. 23, at the Enoch Ward Church. Santa is expected to attend after the religious program pro-gram is presented and carols are sung. Also traditional is the MIA caroling party which was held on Tuesday with refreshments served at the church after. The Guide Patrol class of the Primary spent Saturday hauling wood for several families as a good deed project for the holiday season. David Grimshaw is visiting at home for a short while. David has been serving an LDS mission in Western Mexico and was returned re-turned home for medical attention. atten-tion. He plans to resume his mission as soon as his doctor releases him. Glendon and Elda Heaton went to Salt Lake on Saturday to take Glendon's father, John Heaton, to spend the holidays with family fam-ily members there. Charles Heaton returned with them to spend Christmas at home. Charles Char-les is serving in the Armed Services Ser-vices and came to Salt Lake by chartered bus with a large number num-ber of Utah servicemen from Texas. The Gleaners of the Enoch Ward MIA spent Sunday evening filling and delivering Christmas boxes. The M-Men attended Priesthood meeting in Parowan and then joined the young ladies at the home of Bud and Mary Nelson for refreshments. Sunday night at the home of Bud Nelson members of the Enoch M-Men and Gleaners gathered ga-thered for a dinner party after I they had made Christmas visits to the homes of several ward members. |
