Show Plans for 1967 Street Oiling Initiated by City Preparation for the 1967 street oiling program, approval off a more adequate lighting system on 300 West street and restricted parking on Dew-3y Avenue were items of consideration on the agenda of the Cedar City Council meeting held Thursday, Dec. 15. Cedar City engineer was authorized auth-orized by the council to begin preliminary planning for the 1967 stroet oiling program and in connection with that program the council further approved the crushing of 2500 tons of gravel for street oiling and improvement, improve-ment, according to Mayor Loren j Whetten. The council also took action to I improve the street lighting on I 300 West street between 400 and :C00 South streets. The council felt that since 300 West serves as ! a.main access to the new Cedar jCiry High School that an improved im-proved system is necessary.
