Show Wedding Rites Unite Cedar , Girl, Nephi Man I Miss Kathryn Bringhurst was married to Kenneth S perry Satur-I Satur-I day, Dec. 17, in rites performed by Cedar Stake President LTiu I Whatcott. The double ring ceremony cere-mony took place in the Tenth Ward Chapel and was followed by a reception. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bringhurst, Cedar Ce-dar City. The bridegroom's parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. William Sperry of Nephi, Utah. For her nuptials the bride wore a full-length gown with long sieeves. The dress was design-, design-, ed from bonded lace over taffeta. Bridal accessories included a nylon ny-lon net veil attached, to a seed pearl crown and a bouquet of red poinsettas with small red rose buds surrounding. I Miss Mary Lampman was ' maid of honor and sole attend- ant. She wore a dark green suit j with a corsage of red and white I carnations. j Best man was Sidney Stewart. Mother of the bride wore a beige dress with a red and white carnation corsage. A holiday color scheme of red and white was carried out through the entire wedding with decorations centered around the theme. I Assisting with the reception 1 were sisters of the bride, cousins, and close friends. They wore red velvet dresses trimmed with white. Two aunts of the bride,. S Ada Carpenter and Fern Urie attended the gift table. Serving were Joyce Bringhurst, Susan Urie, Tauna Mosdell and Cherrie Woolsey. Petite gift bearers were Elaine Bringhurst, Sally Urie and Diane Urie. Mrs. Sid Stewart was at the guest book. Following their honeymoon trip, the couple will be at home in Salt Lake City. The bride is a graduate of Cedar City High School and Continental Beauty School where she has returned to train for her instructor's license. li-cense. She also attended College of Southern Utah. Mr. Sperry graduated from Juab High School, served two years in the U. S. Army and is presently employed at Kennecott Copper. |
