LaPreal Cornelius, Carma Williams, Verna Davis, Nedra Encc and Ferl Zohner, attended Primary preparation meeting at Cedar City Saturday. Visitors at the home of Mary M. Williams Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Williams and children of Henderson, Nev., and Mr and Mrs. Arbon Hall and children and Martha Peterson of Cedar City. Mrs. Christine Anderson of Cedar Ce-dar City was a week end visitor here with relatives. Gary Williams left here Satin Sa-tin day for Salt Lake City to enter en-ter the LDS hospital where he will undergo surgery. His mother, Ethna Ford, and Rowena Williams Wil-liams left Tuesday morning to be with him. Everyone wishes him a very speedy recovery. Speakers in Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Devon Reeves and Miss Faith McMechen, recently re-cently returned missionaries. Both labored in the Canadian mission. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Munford Sunday Sun-day were his brother and family, fami-ly, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Munford Mun-ford of Cedar City. Mrs. Maynard Christensen en-Joyed en-Joyed a visit from her mother, Mrs. Bertha Ramsey of Glendale, Utah. Preston Williams was happily surprised when two of his missionary mis-sionary companions, Fred Wee-nig Wee-nig and Edward Boyer of Salt Lake City, called on him. They had not seen each other for 27 years. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Williams had as their guests Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Bladen and children of Cedar City. The Junior M-Men played a basketball game with the M-Men of the Cedar Third ward and won by a score of 61 to 26. The local team Is under the leadership leader-ship of Willard Williams and DcLile Davis. ..Mrs. Barbara Williams and children visited for a couple of days last week in Cedar City with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Struble. Sui day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Wak-ling Wak-ling of Cedar City. i Clair Flatt of New Plymouth, 'Idaho, called for a short time to !see his mother. Mina Piatt. He and a companion were enroute to Kanab on business. Michael Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams, was elected Chief of Safety on the Student Council at the Cedar City Junior High School for 1957. |
