Show Registration Announced for Community Adult Classes J Registration for Community I Adult Classes will be held Monday, Mon-day, January 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. ! at the Junior High School Faculty Facul-ty room. A great variety of classes will be offered In this series. Including: Includ-ing: family sewing, tailoring, upholstery, home decoration, draperies, slip covers, landscaping landscap-ing your home, fix-it class, furniture furn-iture refinlshing, household carpentry, car-pentry, art appreciation, knitting, knit-ting, leather craft painting for fun and lapidary (the last four classes listed carry a $5.00 registration regis-tration fee.) Two special PTA sponsored classes will be offered: understanding under-standing the teenager and parenthood par-enthood In a free nation. Understanding the teenager will be a course featuring ft dlff- jerent lecturer or leader at each session and with time allowed for a question and answer period. per-iod. Round table discussions on teenage problems will also be featured. Parenthood in a free nation is a Ford Foundation study course designed to help parents develop a philosophy of parenthood. This course was offered In Cedar City for the first time last year. Four separate study groups were organized or-ganized and very well attended. Typical parent response was: "This has been the most outstanding out-standing and beneficial material I have ever come In contact with." This year there will be attempt, ed three separate study groups to be held In each of the three elementary el-ementary schools. If you are In terested In attending this course you should register Monday night or call Winona Cowan at 1135. The knitting class will be oflered for the first time In several sev-eral years. A well qualified Instructor In-structor hat been obtained and a concentrated 10 hour study course will be offered. This Is a real opportunity for you to learn this craft from an exceptional teacher.
