Show New Heating System Plans Made for Wards The Presiding Bishop's Office has informed the bishoprics of the Parowan First and Second Wards that the program to replace re-place the heating system in the building housing the two wards had been approved by th-.t office and that the bid has been let for the Job. it was announced to us by Bishop Gordon Farnsworth the first of the week. Bishop Farnsworth states that the low bidder on the project was the Kitchen Plumbing and Heating Co. of Cedar City, headed head-ed by Wendell Butcher and that work on the project will get under un-der way immediately with the Job to be completed by Oct. 1, according to terms of the contract. con-tract. In the new heating system the building will be heated with what is known as baseboard hot water heat. It will be contrloled in five different zones in the building so that heat can be controlled con-trolled in the five zones, as the parts of the building are being used. Bishop Farnsworth states that the present furnace will not need to be replaced as the church architects ar-chitects have pronounced that it is adequate to do the Job. The cost of the project has been placed at between $10,000 and $15,(XX), the bishop informs us. |
