Literary Club Honors Mrs. Hazel Pendleton At last Wednesday's meeting of the Parowan Literary Club, Mrs. Hazel Pendleton, a member of the club for the past 25 years, retired as an active member and became an honorary member of the organization Mrs. Georgia B. Mitchell, club member, paid tribute to Mr3. Pendledton in which she reviewed the honored lady's activities as a club member and presented her with the book "The First 2000 Years," by Cleon Skousen. Mrs. Anna S'ubbs, daughter of Mrs. Pendleton, was a special guest at the meeting, which was held at the home of Mrs. Nellie Bent ley, with another of Mrs. Pendleton's daughters, Mrs. Miriam Mir-iam Lls'er, giving the topic lor the evening.
