Speakers Scheduled For Cedar Stake Quarterly Conference The Quarterly conference of the Cedar Stake, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be held Saturday and Sunday May 15 and 16, it is announced by President A. E. Whatcott. Two prominent loaders of the LDS Church will bo the featured speakers. They are John E. Carr, a member of the General Welfare Committee, and Helen B. Evans, of the Primary General Board. General sessions of the conference con-ference will be held Sunday, May 16. at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m., President Pre-sident Whatcott stated. Elder Carr served as president of the New England Mission for three years. In his youth he was a missionary in the Swiss-German mission. He in active in the auxiliary organizations of the church. Mrs. Evans has been active in most Church auxiliary organizations. organiza-tions. She attended Utah State Agricultural College. In addition to the general sessions ses-sions Sunday special meetings for welfare and primary leaders will be held Saturday.
