Show Cedar Lions Club Will Host State Convention in June Cedar City Lions Club will play host to the Annual Utah Lions Association convention here June 10. 11 and 12. Nearly 1000 Lions and their wives from throughout the state are expected to be in attendance. Representing Lions International Internation-al at the state-wide convention will be M. C. Lewis, Jr. of Hot Springs, Ark., a director of the International organization. Lewis was elected to his position posi-tion at the annual convention held in Toronto, Canada In July 1964. He is a Key Member and Past President of the Hot Springs Lions Club, after serving the club in all other capacities. In the District organization, he has held the office of Public Relations Re-lations Chairman; Membership Chairman, Deputy Governor and District Governor. An International Internation-al Couselor, he has received two Extension Awards and the 100 per cent District Governor's Governor's Award. Director Lewis holds three degrees de-grees from the University of Texas, Tex-as, a BA in education with honors, hon-ors, a BS In mathematics with honors, and an LLB (all in 1948). Lion Lewis, now a Major In the Army Reserve, served in World War II for four years, with duty in Alaska, the Aleutians, France and Germany.
